Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

Have you taken a look at how Stalin came to power in Communist Russia?
We never looked into anything to do with Russia.
So no I have not.

Yeah, probably not a good idea to read Stalin for a Napoleon essay. Can you explain a little further on the question? Why "animals"?

Uhm, yes it is a good idea, It's an essay about the PIG napoleon, the one from animal farm. :)
Im assuming she(my teacher) means Snowball mainly.
"Why was Napoleon able to rise above the other animals and become the ultimate leader?"
is exactly how she wrote it.
5 paragraphs would be 1)Intro/2.3.4)points/5)conclusion right.
Right now I have two main topics, along with some points on each , Fear and lies, I need one more, along with some points, and any other help.
Thanks.

Yeah, I realised just after clicking "post". Sorry about that, I was over-excited at the prospect of being able to discuss history finally. :)

It's not just fear, before that it was real military power and cunning strategies (element of surprise: in secret forces and unexpected use of brutal force) that led to the defeat of his principle opponents. After that it was the case of making good allies (Boxer). But what helped him more than anything, I think, was the ignorance on the animals' part because they failed to realise distinction between liberty and self-rule. They could not see that the lack of liberty under an animal is the same as that under humans. Thus, they saw him a satisfying ruler as long as there was threat of human invasion.

Ok, I'm answering because I think this will help. This is quite different than the other ideas, but I do believe that those ideas are correct as well. For one, Napoleon came to power because of his intelligence. If you think about it, no other animal could read, write, or speak as well as the pigs. So how did Napoleon come to power instead of Snowball or Squealer? Well, Snowball did try to co-lead alongside Napoleon, but he got run out by Snowball's dogs (KGB). And the only reason Squealer didn't come to power because he had no drive to lead. He seems like one to hop on the bandwagon. So, I hope that helps a little bit. Obviously, you will need to elaborate on these ideas and review these parts in the book.

Good advice, just change some names from history and you'll get Animal Farm.
