When one is born again they are regenerated by the word of God. I believe this to be true, could anyone give me a scripture that show this to be true.

I use King James version by personal preference to begin with. Being lazy I took the easy way and by focusing on the word regeneration I immediately thought of Titus 3:5--"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Verse 6--Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.

The context of the chapter appears to be exhorting members ofthe church to proper behavivor to each other and to society around them because they have changed in their natures by the sacrifice of the Lord Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit in revealing the Lord's love to us (as believers).

This is my attempt at simpifying the chapter--the more I read the verses the deeper it gets--as well as it should.
