Searching for a short story about death going to a party, cant remember title

i think it was a party for death, but the premise was a woman who asked her friend to give a party to his dying child, who would in turn pass it on to death. And sure enough, on the night of the party, death arrives, and death is a beautiful young woman. ANd by the end of the party, nobody wants death to leave.

Can someone please help me find this story?

I found it, its called "Come Lady Death" By Peter S. Beagle, for those of you interested
