I might not hate technology completely, because of all the good points mentioned above. But it has sure made me an addict, I cant think of anything else than Internet. If it did not exist, probably my life would not have been so sedentary, I would have spent more time in sports or more of outdoor activities, and socialised with real people, now I do that virtually, and I dont even know if I will ever meet anyone from this world. I guess I wont. Its not that I am being stopped from doing any outdoor activity, but still.....only if it were not so addictive.

Yea, let's be a bit of a Will Smith robot-hating sort. Although it's requisite to allow, even encourage, those who do adore computers -- all have a right to pursue their dreams. But, I once passed out a Scholastic Magazine to kids showing young Chinese workers breaking down a mountain of used computers to retrieve the valuable parts - platinum, silver, etc. Dangerous work and it's a primal part of the so-called glory of computers. Perfect sample of the negative side of the computer revolution. Also, one of the hottest jobs is as some sort of psychologist or therapist whose job is to get kids off-hooked on computers.

heh, I wouldn't describe myself as a whiz...but it is my field of specialization...and well, yeah...I hat them because of the work they produce for me eachday...or rahter the users who use them that create these mountains of work for me.

but everynow and again, the ol' ms server does something odd for really no reason...so...I hate em!
