Bell and Book
Weight of countless crushing fears
The paper on the table
Headlight-caught still-spotted deer
In a clown car’s brights.
Goals, ever extended further,
Rushing headlong nowhere
Stress and tears burst dam and hurt her –
Still the show goes on.
A or F, what does it matter?
One letter slates millions
Words are inane, endless patter;
Where is the sky?
yes, one more poem - sorry for posting so many . . .
