You have no idea how long I've been sitting on that. Hanging around mentally debating whether I'm stupid enough to start this thread. The voices in my head unanimously decided yes. ;) [j/k. I'm not really schizo, promise]
Actually, this is about the anime Read Or Die *pause to allow everyone to switch to another thread.* [bet I get the most views and least replies] anyways, it's actually really good, and if anyone's heard of it, or would like to discuss anything to do with japanese entertainment-or anything at all, feel free to reply.
btw, I'm talking about the 3 episode series, not the tv series. and yes, the first episode sucks, if anyone knows what I'm talking about.
Ahem...I just wanted to reply not to make you feel lonely, but I don't have a cluw of what you're talking about :D

Ninja Scroll was killer.
Same as Koa, not even the slightest idea what that thingy is (was?) about... but hey, there are threads WITHOUT a reply as well, so your thread's not gonna be one of them now... ;)

You liked it Abdo, man I thought it was twisted and odd.

To read or to die... That is the question... But didn't you think, that letters just lyers? They are DEAD, like sphinks... Sounds - the only true way to find something outthere. When I listen to Shaljapin or Caruso, I feel, that I can understand smth. You know, it's just like when you fly in your dream... no, I'd better say - as if you fall somewhere. But letters... You can understand them in different ways, you can even imagine, that tis is your piece of imagination... Sorry for my english, but I hope you 'll try to understand what I'm trying to explain. By the way, what do you think of russian literatute?

I think Russian literature is great (excluding that last post of course :D)! Especially Tolstoy and Dostoyevski.

Indeed
The thread title interest me. If that's the intention behind the creation of this thread (to attrack curious people who fear to "die"), well u succeeded finely :)

yes, that was partially it. :) Not just that though, people are easily exploited by their fear of death and love of money, just generally. I mean, I bet I got tonnes of views for this thing, even though it's obvious I'm not going to turn around and murder the illiterate. Abdo did something similar with that 'click here for buried treasure' obviously nobody's gonna get anything from it, people were still lured by the idea of money anyway.
Sometimes I like to play little mind games with people. or hypothesise on their behaviour and run little sociological experiments....
so go and run another experiment Faye :p

Ouw, I'm one of the specimen?! (j/k)
I think besides death and money, LOVE should also be included. I remember some (long) time ago there was this internet virus which was spread by emails. The subject "I Love You", really attracted people to open that email and then their pc got infected by that virus
OY, believe Faye wouldn't do such a thing... right Faye? No viruses in your inboxes? ;) :D

Well, I didn't say He/She would has such intention. It was just an input for the "sociologist" for his/her next experiment :)
I got that, but you better not give Faye any ideas, who knows what she's capable of :p :D

Thanks for the tip. Please excuse me, I'm new in this forum! :)
No problemo, it was actually meant as a joke, I sometimes tend to get a little sarcastic...

But a little weighs a ton, sometimes.
Too true, Ab, too true... but I'm still requesting to be allowed to be sarcastic at times...
