Hi, peeps!
Here are some shots I took in Bangkok. It's a great place, where tradition and modernity (not sure whether this is the correct term ;)) finely blended. People are very nice and it's truly a shopping paradise
More pictures can be seen at my yahoo photo album here: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/darcy_me/my_photos
So, if you have a plan to visit Asia, I highly recommend this city :thumbs_up
This is one of the buildings in the Grand Palace complex (one of the main palaces for the royal family of the Kingdom of Thailand). And yeps, that's me posing ;)

Thai traditional outfits. These girls were performing Thai dances in this river cruise I took.

I forgot the name of this temple, which is located in top of the hill (still located in Bangkok). When I visited it, I wasn’t allow to enter as there was a special ceremony which was only for Thai people

Hey I have been to Bangkok too, for only a day, and I remember there is another market similar to what you mentioned, Indira Market, you'll find a lot of road side vendors there, and a lot of fake branded stuff is sold in this market. Other place that I visited was Pattaya, it has beautiful beaches, and lovely weather. All in all, these are beautiful places to visit.

Wow, looks like quite the busy city. :)
I like the palace and temple pictures best, it's some great architecture.
You and the rest of the people look so small compared to the palace. I think they imported those trees from Mars though, funky looking as they are. :D
Oh, The Dancers are interesting too. I've always been a fan of traditional dances.

LOL I thought too that the people look small there!
:D
I liked the pic with the big business building, I don't know why but those modern monsters always fascinate me a lot, that's why I like big cities!

Yes, sky scrapers are cool too, but it's the really tall ones that are interesting, like Taipei 101 in taiwan. Tallest building in the world. (for now)
I find the buildings in Sub's picture to be decent, but of fairly simple design.
