Beowulf-best translation

The translation by Seamus Heaney is definatly the best translation of Beowulf around.

I prefered Kevin Crossley Holland's translation for Oxford World Classics.

Speaking of Old English translations what about Ezra Pound's version of the Seafarer. I think its brilliant. More of an interpretation than a translation though.

And if you like Old English read The Oxen of the Sun episode in Joyce's Ulysses which is another great way to experience the language without having to learn it.
