I haven't been around much lately, but I swear I am not abandoning you :p School just started up a week ago and I've been swamped with all kinds of stuff, seeing as at the same time I had a friend visiting, had a new car to register and an old car to try and sell. Anyways, I'm just letting you guys know that I'm still here :D

I'm taking British Literature (From the Romantic period to the present) and African American literature this semester...as well as....ARCHERY!!! (So there, Robin, competition is coming your way...I hit my first bull's eye today on my 5th ever shot! :p )

I'll be around, don't miss me too much! :)

Hey, that sounds good :D Take care with the archery-thingy, don't shoot your instructor nor get hurt yourself ! (my arms hurt badly after two days of an "intensive course" as the bow was just too heavy for my or I was doing it all the wrong way )
Anyways, have fun and come around some time! ;)

Have fun Shan. That sounds great. Please feel free to post issues here that come up in your lit classes.

What? I never said I was a master archer -- I just pretend to be one. :p

Have fun in school, Shannanigan. I hope you post about your lit classes more (authors, stories, your thoughts).

Plus make sure to let us know how you do in archery! *pokes Robin* ;)

Heehee...okay Robin, you can still be the England's Greatest Archer, I'll be the Caribbean's (or pretend to be...)

My instructor says that if we shoot anyone we automatically fail...so...hopefully I don't shoot anyone, lol...

British Lit and African American lit are already proving cumbersome, there is a LOT of required reading. We covered William Blake last class (as if you could thouroughly examine all of a poet's greatest works in one and a half hours!) and today in African American lit we analyzed some "spirituals," or religious-seeming songs that enslaved Africans sang on the plantations to keep their hopes up...and also secretly communicate plans for escape...

cool! :)

Blake...eh...I loved some of the poems, disliked others. Mostly didn't like the ones from his poems of "innocence" and liked the ones from "experience," lol. Does that say something about me? :p
