The woods will hide me till they can't find me
those angry voices that scare me
and like a fairy tale i know i will prevail
and they'll no longer scare me
and i will taste the moonlight, drink in the sunshine
till it permeates my skin
and i will lay down with the earth and find my peace
and make love with the wind
the smell of life and death mingles with my breath
and warms my weary soul
i watch the leaves tangling with the breeze
in a dance of love unknown
i will taste the moonlight, drink in the sunshine
till it permeates my skin
and i will lay down with the earth and find my peace
and make love with the wind
no they won't venture close
their afraid of my ghosts
i'm protected by their fear
and so i close my eyes and smile inside
knowing i'm am safe right here
where i will taste the moonlight, drink in the sunshine
till it permeates my skin
and i will lay down with the earth and find my peace
and make love with the wind
those angry voices that scare me
and like a fairy tale i know i will prevail
and they'll no longer scare me
and i will taste the moonlight, drink in the sunshine
till it permeates my skin
and i will lay down with the earth and find my peace
