For those of you who seem to have trouble reading this book and doing homework on it, you might consider getting the free audio book from Librivox. Sometimes it is easier to understand when you listen to it.
Librivox uses volunteers to read their books, so it really is free for you to use. The man that reads The Invisible Man does a very good job. Keep in mind that there are also other books available for free, but though the list is growing, it does take time.

I use Librivox all the time...I love the site. You can run it through search and easily find it. It's all public domain so you can get the audiobooks free of charge. I recently downloaded in zip file format a Dostoyevski novel and "Alice and Wonderland" , both in MP3 file format. I believe on the site it will make clear to you how to go about this, for your particular system and browser. Most of the readers are excellent ; I have enjoyed the site emensely. I will have to check out "The Invisible Man". I have wanted to read that one, but would be great to listen to it instead.
