Thank you all so much for the wonderful thread - the wishes, the comments, the pictures, the quotations from songs, and the very lovely, talented poem by Pendragon (very, very nice, I must say ;)).
Unfortunately, I do not have a lot planned for the day, only a day of work, but, luckily, not a full 12-hour shift. Later (I think my day ends about 1700 [or 5 pm ;)]), I may go out-and-about with some friends and family for dinner, but must wake early tomorrow morning.
My goodness - 24 - nearly 1/4 of a century! :lol: I feel no different, but I have only officially grown a year older not quite 6 hours ago (I think I took my first breath slightly after 0200).

Thank you kindly, Pensive, Koa (so nice to see you back again! :D), AimusSage, Shea, kilted, Riesa, and Nightshade. Too thoughtful of you all to create this thread, and contribute to it.
All-in-all, I had a fairly uneventful day, as I had to work on my birthday and the day following (and those all-day working shifts really exhaust me sometimes); perhaps we will see what happens over the weekend, however.
Regardless, it seems that most birthdays after the 21st have slightly less celebration for most people (but definitely not all!); as I posted in another thread, though, at least I can look forward to my 65th birthday, when I can get a senior discount in most restaurants. :D
