here is a new idea:
what is the image that u had or still have of the PAM? has it proved to be right or still you dunno?

let me give u one example to start it: when I first saw the dear member Mono , I thought he was a lovely girl, with a fair hair and a white complexion, not very tall and not short! I dunno how this image came to my mind. maybe it was suggested by his avy and name. Howver, I then discovered that the pretty gal was not a gal ,but a very well liked guy! I did not think how this guy would appear like ,still

Hmm, I picture Miss Tenderness as a girl of medium height, with thick, brown, wavy hair, brown eyes, and tanned skin. Soft skinned and sweet like her personality!

Petrarch's Love

Well, I've seen a lovely picture of Piper now, but before that I thought of her as very thin and tall with slender fingers (the better to pipe with I suppose), long mahogony coloured hair and always wearing long, slightly bohemian, old fashioned looking skirts (probably because of the "vintage" in her name).

RobinHood3000

Hmm...I picture Petrarch's Love with waist-length brown hair, sitting on a wine cask, sipping from a glass filled through a dripping cork in the side and reading an old, leather-bound tome in the dark. Dunno why.

I picture Robin as a young guy with dark hair, tongue firmly-in-cheek, perenially in green tights (he would have to prove otherwise on the LitNet PhotoAlbum) and possibly talking to ducks in his spare time (even if they're only rubber ones) !! ;)

Pendragon

Cruci is a young lady, well-read, educated, and with a great personality. Now if I find that this is a guy, I'm going to fell very foolish! http://www.industreal.spb.ru/smiles/big-grin.gif

Reading all the posts by Pendragon, the first image that I had of him was of a bubbly, young, happy-go-lucky guy. However, I was wrong in just one point... Pen is not young in his age but he sure is young & bubbly at heart.

well, I've always associated Shakira with Shakira the celebrity. Wonder why? but she turns to be a very pretty lady. is Shakira, the celbrity, pretty?

Well, that depends on what you consider pretty. She's a wee bit trashy and overprocessed, but then again, what pop singer now a days isn't?

When I think of Miss Tenderness, I think of a very sweet girl, tenderhearted (I wonder why that is? ;) ) and thoughtfull. I too think of her as having brown hair but she has straight hair, not wavy in my mind and I think of her as being medium to short in height, she might even possibly have glasses.

wow,you I did not think that I'll find someone who easily brought what's in my mind into the shape of words(in Shakira's prettiness matter) . I share the same opinion as Idril's.

Idril, now this may surprise you but I've always associated you with a dear friend of mine, his name is Adrian. maybe coz both of you are jokers, full of youth, adventerous (your avy tells that)and both of u have the D letter in their names!!so I do not wonder why  .

When I first started posting here, I remember Miss tenderness's avy was a young girl sleeping, so that is how I always pictured her. Actualy, tenderness, I saw your pic in the photo album thread and you looked pretty much like I thought. Well, except for the sleeping part.

I think kathycf must have a quick smile, green eyes and shoulder length dark hair. She seems like someone who either dances or used to dance...I'm not sure why I think that though.

I used to tend to picture Shakira as the singer/celebrity one. Now that I have seen our Shakira's picture in the photoalbum I know she is nicer and much more "real" looking than the singer.

I think kathycf must have a quick smile, green eyes and shoulder length dark hair. She seems like someone who either dances or used to dance...I'm not sure why I think that though.

Dark hazely greenish brown and I took ballet classes as a child for 7 years and tap for 2. I do have a nice smile, I think it is my best feature. Of course I am rather much larger now, so I don't do much dancing (in public) :p And yes, I do have longish dark hair. Are you a psychic, Laura? :brow:

Kathy - curlers and bathrobe...I'm thinking light blue cotton? Standing in her front yard in the freezing cold, coffee mug in hand, watching the neighborhood children play in the snow with an affectionate smile on her face.

Robin is tall and medium build, with a bow in one hand and a book in the other. ;) early to mid 20's.

I tend to prefer pink terrycloth robes, but I like light blue as well. But curlers? No, no. My hair makes me look like a poodle as it is, it doesn't need too much more curling than nature provides. :p

When I see the name RobinHood the only image I have in my mind is that of a thinly built young man of about 26 - 28 years of age, hair a mixture of golden & brown, a slight goatie & a very cute smile. Robin just let me know whether all this is similar to you in any way. :D

The first person that caught my eye when I joined this forum was Pensive, coz of her avatar. The initial posts that I read of hers (in How are you feeling today) made me think that she is a sad person. I am sorry Pensive, I had a wrong impression. But I dont think that ways anymore. I find you charming and very understanding.

Robin just let me know whether all this is similar to you in any way. :DWell, I'm awfully cute , and I consider myself a man , but I'm leaving the rest ambiguous. ;) There's an ancient thread somewhere about my age, though, and it was a big much-ado back then. My, that was fun.

I see Madhuri as a big question mark, until she chooses an avatar ;). Perhaps we should have another avatar-recommendation thread?

Robin makes me think of a vaguely GenX type, early to mid 20's, longer hair, casually dressed, plays video games, eats cereal for supper, that sort of thing.

Idril .... what can I say. Believe me the moment I see the name Idril the picture that comes to my mind is of an angelic girl with delicate features.

Petrarch's Love
08-08-2006, 07:19 PM
I think of Shakira as having long dark hair and very large dark eyes, and always looking carefully at everything in the world around her. I don't think of her with a large flashy type of smile, but a more small and gentle type of smile, the type that is worth looking for. For some reason I always picture her standing by water, maybe a river, either reading or lost in thought.

Don't know why I always think Petrarch's Love is a male, who is very sophisticated & has an "intelligent face".

 Nope, I'm definately a woman. I don't know about the intelligent face. You'll have to look at the photo album and judge for yourself. :D

So how do I picture the mysterious Robin of the foxy avatar? :D I bet he's about my brother's age, 20 (though I've heard allusions to this guess the age thread, I think it was a bit before I came here, either that or I don't remember, so this really is just a guess). I think he's about medium to tall height and for reasons I cannot explain I picture him with slightly Irish looks--not bright red hair but blondy brown with maybe a hint of red, and the sort of complexion that was prone to freckles as a kid. I bet he has a large and devastatingly charming smile too. :D Obviously his favorite activites are a mixture of computer games, archery, and saving damzels in distress and he likes to dress in green a lot.

Petra is definetly a female...a teenage perhaps

That's rather close, except for the age part....and I don't have very dark eyes...but I am against feminism for sure. You too then?

Like most people, my first impression of Sub was that she was a male and I have no idea why, maybe it was the Michael Stipe avatar but that also told me that he/she had very good taste in music, was probably liberal in her politics and quite intelligent. Once I discovered she was a girl, a picture came into my head of someone with short, dark hair, average height, jeans and a t-shirt kind of gal. I figured she was probably a college student or just recently out of college and quite independent.
