I am a Chinese. I have read the Chinese edition and I like it. I want to read the original edition. My question is: how much vocabulary do I need? Thanks!

I certainly don't remember every word, but I think it was not too hard a novel.

Welcome to lit net, mountainside.

Hello, mountainson, welcome to the forum.
Overall, Charles Dickens' language can read simply, but he does use a few words and some British slang that may confuse you. With the slang, we can certainly help, if you have trouble (as sometimes even I have trouble, too :D), but you seem to write beautifully in English; I think you can do it.
Good luck! ;)
