Hi!
I'm new to this Forum. I've came across it by searching the english title of Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT (in Brazil it is named Véspera de Reis),
to correctly indicate the character name of Viola and Orsino in the verses
written below. They are in portuguese and were inspired by the reading of the brazilian version of Tales from Shakespeare by Charles and Mary Lamb.
It reads:
ah, de Sebastião a formosa Viola era irmã gêmea,
e, sob disfarce masculino, servia ao Duque Orsino;
porém, descobriu Ele que Ela era mulher, e fêmea,
e no seu Amor descoberto encontraram o Destino.
ah! to Sebastian was the fair Viola twin sister
and under male disguise served the Duke Orsino
however, He found that She was woman, and female,
and in their found Love they met the Fate (destiny).
Well, I beg your pardon for this introduction of mine in this Forum.
Best regards
