Don't know very much at all about Fanstory, sorry.

I did find these few tidbits using a search engine :

If you search this page (http://www.writesville.com/writesville/2005/12/dictionary_of_l.html) for the word 'scam', you can find what one person thinks of Fanstory.

Also, this site (http://wilkeworld.blogspot.com/2005/07/note-on-fanstory.html) has a few things, though nothing concerning scams.

Wish I could be more constructive :D .
