Regeneration

Does anybody know of more novels similar to 'Regeneration' and 'Birdsong' as I find them extremely moving and so terrible that it is possible to belive the horrors of trench life and madness during ww1. I am studying ww1 material in preperation for A2 English Literature in two years and would be grateful for any guidance. Thanks x

Well if you haven't already 'All Quiet on the Western Front' is an excellent WWI novel, and the only one I know off the top of my head save 'A Farewell to Arms' but that doesn't involve life in the trenches at all.
