OK, none of you cared to pass a comment on my previous poem. Well, here is a new poem I wrote. Please take pity on me and spare a comment. Even if you think its a lousy poem, kindly let me know along with your reason; I won't return the insult.

To D____

To D____, I left in haste,
For I had no time to waste.
My baggage had no weight
And my pockets too were light.

The past was lost in vain,
So I had to catch that train
To where, no one knows my name;
And there’s just one alone to blame.

Didn’t stop say good bye
For none I could look in the eye
In a frenzy, as I rushed pell-mell
She cried, “Son fare thee well”

Plans I had made but none
Just felt like I had to run
So I ran and I kept running on
The trail of the setting sun.

Like I said in my previous thread, I don't try to write poems I wait until they force themselves out. I like them to sound raw and natural and also to contain mistakes.
