Hi, I have joined the forum as I found the discussions interesting and useful. I did find recommendations on which books to read this summer helpful in deciding which books I would like to read this summer. I am a slow reader, so would pick up one book at a time, usually it takes me months to finish a book.
Thanks for all recommendations.

Hi and welcome! Here is great, and if you'll need something, just ask, someone will surely know. If nobody knows, ask Logos The All Mighty, he(or she  ) knows everything. Please, visit July book...

Hey Bazarov, where do I find the July book.
Hello Madhuri, welcome aboard . Bazarov meant the July Book Club book (http://www.online-literature.com/forums/showthread.php?p=229198#post229198). He's desperately trying to find more voters for The Brothers Karamazov ;). I'm sure if you joined, you'd much more prefer Notes from Underground though (or The Idiot :p).

Hey Madhuri. You are welcome.
I once know a certain Madhuri in Indian film. Are you? Or just a name sake? Lol!

Hey Jay, thanks for the link, but what makes you think I would prefer Notes from Underground or The idiot. I have read none of the books mentioned in the list, I think all are for me to read. So no preferences here, as of now.
I was only doing some shameless advertizing of my own, that's all ;)

Hi Muhsin,
my name is indeed Madhuri, but I am not into movies. Yes, it is true that there is an actress named Madhuri Dixit, but certainly I am not the one.

Hehehe, Madhuri I was also wondering the very same thing Muhsin was. Welcome to the forum. You seem like a very interesting person. I hope that you will enjoy your stay here!

Most of us have not read the books listed in that particular poll (http://www.online-literature.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17699) and that is the aim of the Book Club. We are not trying to decide which one is a better book.
Since Dostoevsky is the author of July and one of his books will be read eventually during that month, we are simply trying to choose which one.

Oh. I thought the poll was to decide which book is the better one, and since I did not read any I could not choose. I think i'll go back to the list and make my pick.
