Does Lit-Net claim copyright ownership of all the posts on its forums?

I assume that you don't, based on the volume of people who are willing to post their short stories and poems here, but I want to make sure.

Technically yes, it is in the terms of service when signing up that all posts become our property.

However in practice we aren't going to steal someone's poem or short story.

The clause is there for our protection rather than so we can nab someone's work.
