For those gloomy days, I would suggest watching a movie called U Turn. It always cheers me up.

oh, isaqel. so sorry to hear about ur bad day. this is a great place to come to when ur having a bad day, u know? some of the ppl here are really good at cheering u up. where's ihrocks and sindhu? they really cheered me up; they're great at that stuff. sometimes it helps to watch some mindless yet amusing tv, or maybe head to the beach (if there's one nearby) or maybe the park or something. i hope u feel better soon. maybe u'll have a good tomorrow.

Anyone else thinks I'm silly ;)? Well, I do as well, join the club :p.

When we're speaking about crappy, a dear friend of mine's friend is dying of cancer and my friend is very sad, and I feel crappy 'cause I can't help at all.

:o and Isagel, what exactly did you mean by "I haven't contracted it from -me- yet" ... didn't get what you mean, if you want to know anything, ask ;). Or you were refering to not knowing where the hell comes the quote from? :p

I was just teasing you with that. I meant that insanity canīt be contagious since I have not become more insane buy talking to people here. And that was of course a joke.

Sorry about your friend. I think you are a better support for her than you know. You helped me with your nice letters. And you made me laugh. Laughter is good.

:p thankies Isagel.

And I think my grammar failed again :o... sorry... once again then if you allow me to: I have a friend and HERS friend is dying, which still doesn't mean it makes me feel any better for that.

Well, I hope I haven't been spreading some diseases around... ;)

Isagel

No, I got your point, nothing wrong with your grammar. Iīm still sorry for her, its hard to see someone you like being sick. And I still think that you are a good support for her.

Iīm sure you havenīt any mental diseases that I havenīt already got...

O, by the way - one of my patients have a diagnose for people without mental disorders. "NFTTB" Normal For The Time Being.
Yep, thats me. NFTTB.

Jay

lol Isagel, NFTTB :)

Well, I haven't seen my friend yet... we're internet buddies... and it still doesn't make things easier. But now I got your point ;). And thanks again.

You've made yourself a deal ;). But be warned... I'm depressed a lot.

Isagel

OK - Deal!
Iīm happy alot so I have alot of energy for cheering people up.

Jay

Don't go spending all that energy on me ;). Better things out there worth it. Oookay, not that cheery suddenly. See you later.

Itīs alright. See it as a gift returned. And right know I canīt see anything I rather use it on.
So this is my best poem when Iīm sad:

"It is right it should be so:
Man was made for joy and woe;
And when this we rightly know
Through the world we safely go.
Joy and woe are woven fine,
A clothing for the soul divine.
Under every grief and pine
Runs a joy with silken twine."

If I am feeling sad I go for a walk and sit in a remote place. I then meditate on my life and remember all that has gone well for me. It is not easy to do but it is the only thing that kept me together during sorrofull periods in my life. When my best friend died, I thought that life was so horribly bad, but through my family and pearsonal reflection, I have at least come to terms with my loss, I think it also helps if you have others to share your grief with. For me i prefeer to be alone at first and then seek outside help once I have released most of my inner pain.
