Hello, I was wandering if someone knows can the novel The Stranger by Camus be the 'novel of character' (eg. Process by Kafka)? Tnx

I think it could. Mersault is very complex character, whole book is based on his little wierd minds and thougts, not acts, from beggining and his mothers death to end and his own death, which might be prevented if he only accepted guilt for murder. But that fact, that he thinks he's not guilty and he has no need to apologize, shows his character as a very special one.
