I've posted a message here before about asking interested members to evaluate my work particularly my writing quality/style. Below is a sample of pretext ( quasi-synopsis ) I want to send literary agents and publishers. If you wish to view the full three pages, send me an e-mail to [email protected] Thanks.
__________________________________________________ ______________

I was born September 24, 1973, and again some years later. I was born one day in November, and died the month of September. An inconsistency I would agree. To understand what it means is to understand a life I define
non-sequitur.

This autobiographic novel is not a typical recount of a life lived, A to Z. It has only one beginning. No friend or personal relation. I am neither close to family, including one surviving parent. A denomination of mine is called conflict. A mind walk twenty years ago, has not ended since. Subsistence devoted to not money or power, passion, pride, prejudice, men or maidens.
I sat a hapless imp against intent. Her eyes, his feet, and their incessant squabbling pierced and tear my soul. It was there, in the nether region of abode dissident foes, I felt welcome. Solitude and loneliness is a powerful ally. Socioeconomics became trivial pursuits, so I abandon them readily.
Days are the problems unlike any other. Material wealth is not mine, liability is.

After my father’s pass, another endowment was sent by his most holy.
It was the magic of Anemia and its visual aide unencumbered my inhibition.
I am free. One axiom longs for independent strife. The other is temperament,
tumultuous in nature and lives, breathes a stinging desire.

An autobiography isn't successful unless the person that writes it is famous. Are you famous? What makes your life story more interesting than any other persons? These are questions you gotta ask yourself before going through with this. Personally I'd rather take my chances writing a novel.

I know this isn't quite the same thing, as it's a biography, rather than an autobiography, but Stuart: A Life Backwards by Alexander Masters still managed to be a very interesting read, and it sold well, despite the fact that the subject wasn't famous.

Of course, unless you've had a very interesting, eventful life that might interest other people, then it's probably a bit of a risk. But it's still possible for non-famous people's lives to make interesting stories.

Its interesting you are the second person I've come across that brought up the fact that a person may or may not have to be famous at some point in their life in order to write an autobiography. I don't want to put words in your mouth so I leave it ambigious.

As for me, it's simple. I'm not famous, just someone who has lived life like everyone else and have my own unique take that may be found interesting. For those that want to know, I invite them to read and evaluate my writing, what little I've posted here and more upon request.

What makes it an autobiographic novel, not one or the other is its eccentricity. It has more to do with what it won't be, rather than what it will be. There is a familiarity, a redundancy and a perpetualness about literature. I think people, although some or most might not say it, want to read something different.

I am someone who thinks and writes differently.

The first couple of lines remind me of the beginning of "Middlesex" by Jeffrey Eugenides. i'd change those, otherwise you'll look like a copycat....

i wouln't mind reading a non-famous person's autobiography... but i must admit your style seems a bit cumbersome at times

Thanks again to all who post comments.

To the member who posted the most recent comment, I would ask to keep in mind what little I put down is just a sample. There is a whole host of text that definitely is unlike anything any anyone could or would want to write.

As well my short films tell the same unorthodox tale. You can view my short film titles at Buyindies.com search : Internal Conflict

Internal Conflict is the title of my short films, and part of the subtitle
of my autobiographic novel.
