Comments on my Upcoming Reading List

Hey!

I have decided to read four fiction novels this summer for pleasure in addition to my school reading list. They are:

Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides
Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov
A Bend in the River by V.S. Naipaul
Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe

If you have read either of these, what are your comments? Good, bad, or okay? Please do not reveal the plots, though.

Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe

Middlesex was one of my favorite reads of last year. I tried to start Lolita but got busy and somehow never managed to finish it.

Things Fall Apart is one of my favorites

Havent read Lolita yet, but it's on the list :nod:

Lolita is brilliant - it's a finish in one sitting kinda book.

Naipaul sucks.

Lolita is the only one I've read out of those. It's an amazing book.
