Recently read Monkey Dancing by Dan Glick - - had my teenager read it for school and now my adult kids are reading it - - a great book.
Dan Glick lost his wife (to another woman) and became a single father. Left his job as a reporter because it would be hard to leave his kids and go chasing a story. His brother died (of breast cancer) and Dan was in a bad place.
So what does he do?
He pulls his kids out of school and takes them on a trip - literally around the world.
From Australia to VietNam to Amsterdam... he talks about the land, the people, and his own insights on what he and his kids are going through.
A totally entertaining read - - a book I would recommend.
