Has anyone read House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski? If so, would you recommend it?
This book is not new, but has only recently come to my attention and based on what I've heard I am interested. The problem is that I am having trouble finding it and will have to order it online. Please let me know if you think it is worth the trouble.
I like supernatural mysteries and psychological thrillers, but do not enjoy brutality and blood. My tasts in horror lies more in the vein of stuff like H.P. Lovecraft.
