I just bought a book for a penny! A stinkin' penny! Of course shipping and handling were significantly more but still, I got three books, one of them hardcover, for 10$...again...shipping and handling pushed it up to about 20$ because you can never buy from the same seller, they all have to come from a different place...but still, 3 books, including one hardcover, for 20$ is a good deal.

What I like about Amazon though is that they have a fixed price, I don't enjoy the bidding process with Ebay, it just seems like so much work. :p

And I don't know about engaging in battle with the Amazons, aren't they supposed to be notoriously tough? ;)

Only modding, and only because it was abandoned. People keep forgetting the rule where we fight with means available to pirates (ok, I plead guilty as well, bad, bad Jay!) anyway, so some modding isn't that big an issue imo.

Idril, you really should consider joining either the Amazon Queen or Amazon Princess, both ships are part of the Amazon Fleet under Commadore Scheherazade. The Queen is the flagship, and the Princess we found abandoned by the dasderlies(:brow:) and therefore overtook. The captain of the Princess is Papayahed, but I think she is still honeymooning, so Jay is sort of in charge. We are sailing somewhere wonderful, but it is quite confusing.
