Hello English-lovers! I my glad and grateful to be a member of the community of the well-read.

I stumbled upon this site while I was searching for comments on George Orwell’s Animal Farm. I think it’s the greatest treatise on politics and I wanted to know what others thought.

I love English and English literature! The flexibility of English grammar allows one to be very creative and interesting while communicating; and, that is only one of the two good reasons for my loving English. The other is, English being the most (or one of the most) widely spoken language, has been enriched by the contribution of people from a multitude of cultures.

Edgar Allan Poe is one of my favorite writer. I love his poem, ‘A dream within a dream’. My favorite classic is ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’. I like to read books on philosophy, politics and science. I’ve written a couple of poems; and, I have a diary in which I’m compiling my philosophy. They are mostly observations and analysis made on life and some also relate to science.

I’ve been visiting this site since long, mostly to read classic literature, but never thought of registering. Ever since I espoused the legal profession I can hardly find time for anything else. I hope to my association with this forum will resuscitate my passion for literature.

Hi Caesar, good to see you here. May be a love/hate relationship with English, makes it all the more interesting, nevertheless. Could not help noticing, 'The Count of Monte Cristo', one of my all time favourites too, thanks for reminding me. Cheers!

Hello!
Don't even say probably, but English has reached a peak that if it's call a globe language is much more than apt.
So, I too love English more than as an individual would have think, that is why I'm still learning it my dear.
By the way, I want your prayer about the conclusion of my novel, which I have been writing for about a year or so now.
