Misplaced, forgotten and forlorn lover
Looking for yourself in other's foreign substance
Chasing dream lives of your harridan mother

Summer day, pluvial on our heads, wet dance
Booze is flowing, ecstatic night, beatitude
Morning, not a dream, future, hopeful, by chance

Trouble coming, miasmic air, I was rude
Caustic ideals, forcing change, driving away
Fallen edifice, deviant one, so crude

Paramour to another, out of the way
Alone again, last time, myself left to play

I'm going to bump this poem up to the top because I don't think anyone has yet realized how interesting it is when you really take a closer look.

'Summer day, pluvial on our heads, wet dance' . . . c'mon, that's golden.

Good poem there.

I like your style of rhyme, as well as the imagery.

sloegin's style is very obscure, but it's so pure.
