Hi all! I am a ninth grade English teacher and I can't find the poem I need. I can even remember that it was near "Dolce et Decorum est" in the book (which book I cannot remember). It says something like "I could not love you more/loved not honor more." Any ideas?

To Lucasta, Going to the Wars

Tell me not, Sweet, I am unkind,
That from the nunnery
Of thy chaste breast and quiet mind
To war and arms I fly.

True, a new mistress now I chase,
The first foe in the field;
And with a stronger faith embrace
A sword, a horse, a shield.

Yet this inconstancy is such
As thou too shalt adore;
I could not love thee, Dear, so much,
Loved I not Honour more.

Richard Lovelace (1618 - 1658)

Confess it, you were googling 'honor' without the u.

You're right, of course. Honor without the u. Thanks for your help!
