hey people this my my first post for you all..hope its ok..

The last moments are never the end

I can’t sleep
And cry at night
Through my tears
I try and smile

I always look back
At the moments gone
Where I stood by you
Never so lone.

How could you hold the one you love
When you know you have to let go
How could you look into those eyes
and feel the fear they’ll never be

I remember the day
You promised to love me forever
I could see the tears in your eyes
Knowing the truth,
I keep our love alive

Wish I could forget
That touch that said goodbye
Wish I could forget
Those eyes that cried
Before you said let go………..
But ill always remember that smile
that keeps me alive….
