Hello there.

I'm in England and i've been taking an American Literature Class and i have got to do a presentation on the bookm Fiesta: The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemmingway. It needs to be about class and class structures in the book, but i must admit i'm struggling a little. I have visited this forum in the past, but have only just signed up and thought you guys may be able to give me a hand.

Many thanks!

Well, there are a few of us who know a great deal about this book.... can you be a little bit more specific?

All I remember about this book is the characters are drinking all night long and seeing corridas all day long...
Maybe you'll find this interesting:

Hiya,

Well, more specific, the problem is, i don't have a specific question, all i know is that i have to look at the book and characters in relation to class in the book, for example how different classes are portrayed, how different classes interact, what the writers views on class definaitions are, how strong class boundaries are in the book and things like that. I've had a few ideas around the Brett character, as she is an aristocrat, but i am finding it hard to think of 10 mins worth of quality stuff to talk about!

I'll take a look at that link now.

Thanks for looking!
