Had a bad day/moment? Just let it out and the person below will tell you how it can be worse.
I'll start: My group failed to do any work in Seminar, had no feedback for class, everyone else was superb...very humuliating...I am a failure. lol.

Well, self doubt is bad, so you should not say you are a failure. Everyone has an off day now and then, so it helps to keep things in perspective.
Now, lets see...everytime I sleep I have nightmares, but I know I need to sleep and I haven't slept in 2 nights and I don't see any prospect of sleeping tonight. I'm tired of being tired!

well that is hard, I had insomnia for like a year after I quit graveyard shift as Night attendant at senior's residence.
but you could have insomnia and a fear of the dark and an actual fear of sleeping- I have heard of that. What I did to be able to sleep and during that time I had nothing but nightmares as well-I made sure I got outside excercise, didnt eat stuff with sugar or really stimulating drinks, kept a diary or just wrote out on the computer my dreams and then gave them different endings and such. And I turned on the dryer which makes a sort of white noise, a loud fan works too and then one night I slept and slept well and then every couple of nights I did and the dreams started to fade or else I just didn[t remember them. I hope the best for you.
Well I have to be in the public and am terribly shy and have this STUPID blushing problem. I had to give a talk at college and I could feel my face getting redder by the second. I finished and got a very good response and no one seemed to notice, but I felt sick and wanted to hide away for like a year afterwards.

Just do what Homer Simpson taught me to do, imagine everyone naked. lol.
Now apparently that dont work with men. lol. Blushing is great, shows u have natural modesty/ shame. I think its great. Enjoy it. there are people who splat on lots of red on thier cheeks for that effect! you dont need to. giving speech: im actually very confident and everyone tells me wow, that was great...but like you, inside I am just literally dyeing, But i dont show it and I guess you need to learn that too. And so what you flater a little, if its less then perfect, give it your best shot and you know how to improve for next time. and just think, there are people with worse problems then mine and move on.
