"I have only this one piece of parchment left, and yet a hundred empty booze bottles, all of that same nostalgic drink. I am captain of an old thai fishing junk, and the starry heavens have become myriad fireflies, my navigator has died at the hand of a clashing universe. My modest crew has been stricken with a flu they call 'homesick', which is seriously cutting into morale. The sea now rises and falls against the side of the ship as though it intends to get in and drag it to the lowest nooks of these vast blue waters. I do not know where in this great sea that I am, and I have lost sight of the once familiar coast."

I've been puzzled about where this comes from so was curious if any person could put it with an author/piece of lit.
