I have to write a scene with Jean Valjean (from Les Miserables) and any other fictional character from another novel. Any suggestions for characters? It doesn’t really matter who it is. I just need something to get the brain fluids running, because, right now, the only person I can think of is Harry Potter :D

You could get him together with Madame Defarge from Dickens' Tale of Two Cities and they could knit together a tidy little plot for revolution. Or maybe get him together with a baker like Ragneau from Cyrano and solve his bread problems. ;) He might like chatting about the difficulties of being an ex-con with Magwitch from Great Expectatioins, or perhaps the Count of Monte Cristo. Just a few ideas. I'd be interested to hear who you finally do decide on. :)

Those are some great ideas Petrarch's Love. Me, I'd suggest Michael Henchard from Mayor of Casterbridge - however, that means reading that novel - not the easiest thing to do.

Or how about Aramis.... I think that would make an excellent conversation.

Great project... cudos to your teacher (I think it's a school thing, that's how you make it seem at least).
