I had never heard of him. I picked up a copy of, The Sunday of Life, on a buying spree, and he is quite delightful. A sentence I particularly enjoyed:
The hour-hand is more amusing, it's sort of plump, it takes things easy, it always catches up with the other one in its own good time.
Anyone else read him? Comments?

I haven't, but I googled him and what I saw looked interesting. This caught my wandering eyes . . .
When Arthur Rimbaud's statue was inaugurated in 1927, Queneau cited for the horror of the public the works in which Rimbaud expressed his contempt for the Church, the famous 'French taste', and culture.

Also, from what little I know of him, he used to run with Calvino.

It appears to be Haliburton's latest eugenic experiment.

One day, when the world falls apart, or as the bible thumpers prefer 'armageddon', or 'judgement day'. People will lose history. The the elitest asses, won't have a legs to stand on, and will die off.

To put them in a mew, might be kind of nice. Getting to poke them with sticks. :D They would probably start throwing fecal matter.

Looks like THE BIG DICK CHENEY got banned.
It's a shame. He was like one of those bunker busters: not too pretty, but he always got the job done.
