I'm afraid that this is ruined for me by the opening line being lifted from Led Zepellin's "Battle of Evermore", not to mention the Doors title you sneaked in.

If you had built the whole poem from lines from songs, it might have been interesting - as it is it just smacks of plagiarism.

Further feedback: The rhythm is great, but I would suggest a different title

Well the thing is, I was high on acid with some friends of mine and I was watching the sunrise and listening to some tunes, two of which being the Battle of Evermore by Led Zeppelin and Not to touch the Earth by The Doors. The inspiration for the title is from the Beatles tune Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (which was also on the CD), and the rumours surrounding the song and it's supposed LSD criteria.

Well, uh, yeah...
P.S. It's not a rumor.

TBtheG - how are you communicating? The Internet is obviously not invented where you dwell! Perhaps you connected up an old typrewriter to your DeLorean? Peace out brother.

Had I been on acid at the time of this poem, yeah, it would have super creative and an awful lot more original.

This is a joke right?

You would have felt super creative and original. But you would have spouted random drivel that only makes sense to someone in the same state - believe me, I have been there.

This is the Mr theme from Mrs and the marmite sandwiches.
Where the terrapins terrapin in moon.
Dance tomorrow, life is on the window-sill with a tree head.
Scribble fast scribble fast scribble fast.

Recited in a similar state 20 years ago and utterly worthless. I keep it for nostalgic reasons.
