yeah well call me immature but i really liked them...i heard they might make a movie
if there's one thing i discovered while trying to read all the books that are "smart" - Odyssey, Pride and Prejudice, etc. - it's that reading should be either for pleasure or for knowledge, and if you mix the two, you just fall asleep a lot earlier every night : ). there's no such thing as being immature when reading books. my favorite books are still mostly in the Young Adult section . . . X )
i'd actually like to see that movie! do you know when it's coming out?
by the way, nice quote - but i'm still going for Douglas Adams: "i love deadlines. i especially love the whooshing aound they make as they go by." XD

I read the first one and liked it very much but I hope they won't make a movie out of it. It's sad what they do make out of some really nice ones. I still can't believe that they really filmed 'The Parfum' and since the moment I saw the main actor I hope it was just an april joke.

umm...well it's about time travel. the main character, Lucien (in the 1st book) is a young boy with lukemia. he starts to travel by night to an italy-based world in the (i think) 17th century, Talia.
the next book stars Georgia, a girl who had a crush on lucien. she also travels to Talia.
The third stars Sky, a boy who attends Georgia's school and has a crush on her best friend, Alice.
