hi everyone,i'm new here,it's my first post :) ,i'd like to ask for help in my Research.i have to do a research dealing with "The self in the modern novel" ,so i have to choose a novel by any novelist during the period between 1920-1970.I wanted to try DH Lawrence's "Women In Love" or "In The light House" by Virginia Woolf, but i can't make up my mind.
Any Suggestions

I can recommend In the light house. The style of the book could be interesting when you write about "the self" since Woolf reflects a lot on the subject. But I haven´t read the other one, so it might be interesting as well.

Mmm. Since I´m not a lit. student I´m probably not the best choice as a guide. But I´m sure there are nice people here that will help you along.
