Hi everyone! My first post here, hopefully first of many. I'm in England. I love reading. I'm currently reading "Don Quixote." Quite amazing that this novel is 400 years old. I would say it's the great-great-grandaddy of losts of later novels. I can see the beginnings of other 'forms' of novel in there. Is Don mad? In the same way as "Hamlet" (which must have been first performed around the same time as Don Quixote was first published.) Lots more I could say, but will leave it at that at the moment. I will just say that I love reading and always have a book to read. Love Dickens, Hardy, Shakespeare as well as crime fiction (P.D. James, Ruth Rendell, Colin Dexter and many others. As well as Lord of the Rings which I am part-way through for the fourth time. O.K. I'll end there.
