I thought the last one was a little different than the others. My favorite was the voyage of the dawn treader. But all of them are really great.

The neat thing about the Dawn Treader was how it kept cutting to Eustace's diary. It was different than the other books, and I liked it; I thought it really added something.

I really like all of the books in this series. Are all of C.S. Lewis's books copyrighted? I know he wrote a number of other books.

The film really has nothing to do with the copyright I mean they did an adaptaion of p&P didnt they and thats out of copyright?:D

NO all his books will still be in copy right because he published everything bost 1928 and so its authours life and 75 years unless you live in a country where the copyright is less but hes even within the limits of the australian copyright so Im afraid you need to wait another 8 years for his copyrght to expire in Australia and another 25 years after that for the uk and Us and I think Canada?.

plus, they made a low-budget version of the lion the witch and the wardrobe in like 1995 or so and not many people know about that. it was kinda like a miniseries

hahah.. i remember that - i saw it in French (I don't know why) - it was a terrible adaptation. Kind of like the cartoon of The Hobbit.

The cartoon Hobbit...and it sequal were really sad, heh, you think they would've spent more money on tolkiens works. At least we have Peter Jackson...maybe he will reserect the Hobbit.

Everybody loves the horse and his boy! Why are they not making a movie of that one next instead of Prince Caspain? I understood why they made The lion the witch and the wardrobe first and not the magicians nephew due to it being written later and you wouldnt realy "get" it if they made it first. But what was wrong with the rest of the orders? Are they still making all seven books?

Yes! I love the cartoon Hobbit! I still watch that and the 'Lord of the Rings' and the 'Return of the King' cartoons. And the old BBC Narnia movies.

Anyway, I think they're making Prince Caspian next so that the kids don't age much between the films.

Ok, heres whats going on. The reason they did Lion, Witch and Wardrobe first was because it is kind of central in the whole series. If it was successful, they would continue making the rest of the series. The reason they must do Prince Caspian next is because the Pevensies are but a year older in that story, and the actors should not look too much older. Whereas in the Horse and his Boy, they are adults during their reign in Narnia. It could easily be made later.

Someone did make a television series of the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Compared to the new movie, they were not too good. the LW&W has cartoon scary things put over the motion picture. There's also a movie done of Silver Chair, I saw it once, but it is rather unknown.

The Silver Chair is my favorite Narnia book. As for characters, it's a tough choice between Eustace (his comments and diary in Voyage of the Dawn Tredder were hysterical) or Aslan.

My all time favorite Lewis book is definitely Till We Have Faces. I'm a mythology buff so reading the Cupid/Psyche story from a different perspective was fun.

The Screwtape Letters is good too, but some of the chapters left me pretty confused.

I like Screwtape Letters too. It seems to be just as much about psychology as it is about Christianity and religion. Interesting stuff.

Anyone here read the Space Trilogy? It's my favorite Lewis fiction

I love Pilgrims Regress, very interesting fiction about the world of philosphy and ideas in general. And who can argue with Narnia series. Another interesting writing related to the world of religion is Reflections on the Psalms.
