“Every Day; Every Night”
Every day, harder and harder.
Harder it becomes to bury my emotions.
Every day since our forced departure memories have filled my mind.
Overwhelmed my soul, and drowned my heart.
I can not stop these thoughts from returning.
From the moment my eyes open to the new born sun.
Till the noon of the full moon, as they shut again.
My mind is filled with thoughts of her.
My love, my destiny, to my ever lasting heartbreak.
My heartbreaks night after night as I lay to sleep without her.
I have to fight the tears as images of her lustful but serine eye fill mine.
I can see her, but not feel her.
I would have rather loved and lost than to have never loved at all.
But god… Goddamn it is so hard…
