what do you think of the ending of the book...the last chapter? "Whan Wendy grew up" Why do you think Barrie made the story end like that? What was the moral or lesson to children who read it. I would love to see someone make a movie of the true Peter Pan story..ending and all. I was so excited when i first saw the preview to the new version of peter pan (not hooK). I realy thought that this time they would stick to the true story and include everything!! i was sooooooo disapointed when they didnt! I was even more disterbed when they made peter pan kiss wendy!! i couldnt believe it!! That so goes against everything about the kiss. What do you think?

I hated the ending. I know it was the "appropiate" ending, but I thought the whole adventure with Wendy and her brothers would mean something special to Peter, you know? And then it turns out it's just one more adventure for him, and Wendy is one more girl among Jane, Margaret and so on. It doesn't feel right to me somehow. I watched the Peter Pan movie before reading the book and so I loved it, but after reading the real PP, I agree the kiss between Peter and Wendy was a bit off. I WTF-ied when I saw that, but it was still cute, and the actors had great chemistry so I can forgive the director ^^. Plus, I actually never really understood the metaphorical meaning of Mrs. Darling's hidden kiss. I'm just a bit slow XDD...
