View Full Version : Count's Counting Game (1,2,4,8,16...)

This is an easy addition to the overcrowded games section. Any math novice can join (with a calculator) :D

All you have to do is double the number that is before you. take the previous number and multiply by 2.

Ready? Here we go!

2 (Fibronacci anyone?)

8 aw crap that's not fibronacci....I'm just confusing myself now.

AimusSage
03-24-2006, 02:49 PM
16. this is just a simple geometric sequence. Fibonnaci works just a tad different, adding up the two number before.

Xamonas Chegwe
03-24-2006, 02:53 PM
32 - actually this geometric sequence is the power series of 2, and it won't be too long before we don't need to chatter to get past the 10 character rule.

AimusSage
03-24-2006, 02:57 PM
64, it would happen faster if it was a series of 3.

2,251,799,813,685,248

by hand, it's not that hard, just takes a little while. I write it down in reverse while calculating, then turn it around, and check if I didn't make a mistake.
