View Full Version : Terry Eagleton on Beckett in the Guardian

I've read some of Eagleton, but not for a while. (It's been over a year!!) He reminded me of Culler, I believe -- and what a pretty cover it was, too!
God, I hope that sounds less girly and "womanish" than it sounds in my head.
But that blurb there seems less of a critique/analysis than a bio. I wish I read some more existential stuff. Satre, all that lot. He had some Marxism in his philosophy. And Waiting for Gadot was awesome.
If you want to read Sartre, I recommend Nausea.
