By Donald Barthelme, what are your thoughts on it? It's the short story of to men waiting for a message to appear on the consule, which may or may not come. It will tell them to fire the missile, they've been underground for 137 days, and are beginning to madden. It is a attached file.

It is interesting, but I am not sure that I see the exact moral of the story...people in confined locations go nuts over time?

This title could signify the “game” in which the U.S. played during the years America fought communism. The jacks represent individual countries snatched by the “players” who are countries in effort to impart their governing type. The prevailing struggle of communism in the world stage is the game in which all countries played.
Shotwell in black trunks with the Beretta strapped to his right calf” represents Russia no longer hiding their militaristic capabilities or the fact that it is trying to bring the whole world to communism.

Indeed, and still in copyright - so publishing his work, in word documents, on the net could lead to legal action, if you don't happen to be he.

Not true Whifflingpin, it's the same as photocoping a a work for a class to read. And I got in from the elements on literature online textbook, where i am a registered user. Access granted viz purchase of the hard cover textbook.
