Joris-Karl Huysmans's novel, A Rebours has for a very long time been one of my favorite novels - Its wonderfully well written, and still to this day for me one of a kind. His character, des Esseintes is absolutely enchanting.
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of any other "decadent" literature that is as worth reading. Also, if anyone could also explain to me in clear terms the difference between 'naturalism' and A Rebours, I would be all ears! Thanks!
