Remember our eyes, far as wide where they shining,
EXITING!
reflecting like a beautifull window with a darkened view
to a winter of our cruel innocence, condemned to thaw and slowly
melt without trace by a damning and creeping spring.
AH! AND WE SO BLISSFULLY OBLIVIOUS!

And we so eager then; gave up to the wind like first and final breath
to be carried through dusty classroom till o'er our cracked forgotten tomb!
our laughter who's faint ghost still to be heard as she plays her lament
through our epitaph carved trees stood in the green belt fields where we played, where we made a promise to take to our grave and beyond and yet further, AH! SO BLISSFULLY OBLIVIOUS.

I was reprimanded in my early years for writing poetry and accused of copying my work so discontinued ever writing and as i got older forgot about my interest in such matters, however i have read works by yeats and much love Dust have closed helens eye! but i have been completely blown away by the works of blake i have never felt so close to any work in my life maybe its becouse we share the same birthday or becouse like him i also make print formes for a living but i have never related to anything as much as his work,
JUST WANTED TO SHARE MY NEW FOUND LOVE OF THIS POET WITH THE WORLD. THANKYOU HAWTHORNEWITCH.
