...see what you've done to me.

The profile on your post says it was at 2:30 AM GMT, but you say in your post that it's 1:30 PM. That has you 11 hours ahead of LitNet Time.

Here in Lexington, it's now 1 AM; the ticker at the bottom of my screen reads 3 AM GMT, which has me 2 hours behind LitNet time.

So, you are 13 hours ahead of me, or 11 hours behind. I'm not sure which.

And, just for good measure:

"Going and Staying"

by Thomas Hardy

I

The moving sun-shapes on the spray,

The sparkles where the brook was flowing,

Pink faces, plightings, moonlit May,

These were the things we wished would stay;

But they were going.

II

Seasons of blankness as of snow,

The silent bleed of a world decaying,

The moan of multitudes in woe,

These were the things we wished would go;

But they were staying.

III

Then we looked closelier at Time,

And saw his ghostly arms revolving

To sweet off woeful things with prime,

Things sinister with things sublime

Alike dissolving.

It's 10:56 a.m. here, 6hours behind GMT (wouldn't that put Tod Hacket at -5 GMT, or am I doing this wrong?). I think that means it's about 12:56 a.m. where you are, Gibran.

That makes sense, PL. Chicago is on Central time; Lexington is on Eastern. So, you're an hour behind me.

It's now 12:58 PM according to my PC and cel phone. I look at the ticker at the bottom of my screen and it reads, "All times are GMT -3. The time now is 02:55 PM." So, I'm 2 hours behind. I think. Which would have you 3 hours behind, PL. I think.

PL, you might want to check your math; one of us is definitely off.

That's really strange Tod, because we definately must be just an hour away, but the thing at the bottom of my screen reads that I'm at GMT -6. The little ticker next to that doesn't show me what GMT is though. It shows my local time. It sounds like your lit net display is showing GMT -3 for some reason instead of your local time which is two hours earlier (GMT -5). I went ahead and looked in the date/time file in the control panel of my computer and it shows central time as GMT -6, and Eastern time as GMT -5, so I think that's right.
