have you ever done it?
what do you think?

I think it's harder than doing in class.
The subject is The evotlution of English literature.
I have to compare the given sonnet with the classroom sonnet..
do you think it's hard?

what's about your test...how? harder?

I have done quite a few take home tests. They were rather variable. Some were quite easy and some were not. The most memorable was a calculus test that I had for the Christmas break. There were ten problems on the test, and one problem had no solution. I spent maybe 10 to 20 hours on the test and filled many sheets of paper, mostly for the problem that had no solution.

I'm about to start one right now about the Short Story. I don't think I'm fully prepared for this one but it should go okay ... because its a take home ... and i have the weekend.

Home tests?? I wish! Portuguese education is really strict (i mean, when it comes to exams...). You can pass the grade with two negatives in high school, with and without exams. But that doesn't mean that people don't cheat. I do that many times uhuhuhuhu :alien:

Yes, they tend to be harder than class exams. The ones I recall the teacher expected a collaborative effort to some degree. But certainly not complete copying.

The only take home test I ever had seemed really easy, it was for mythology, I had to write on various passages from ancient sources using the knowledge we gained in class. Like I said it seemed straightforward enough, something that could ahve been done in class as well as out of class, it was just graded alot harder. Same type of information, but you have time to present it better.
